From True Stories of New England Captives Carried to Canada During the Old French & Indian War, C. Alice Baker, 1897, Deerfield, MA - starting on page 118, there is an entire chapter on Marie-Joseph and her husband.
Married on 5 Jan 1712 to Seigneur Pierre de L'Estage, in presence of many friends & relatives, parish church Montreal. Children -
#1 - Marie Joseph, born 1 Oct 1712, godmother Marie Hardin (who was also godmother to Marie-Joseph). Died at age 4
#2 - Jacques Pierre, born & baptized 5 Aug 1714. Godparents Jacques Le Ber, Seigneur de Senneville and Madame Repentigny. In the record the father is called
Monsieur Pierre Lestage, Marchand Bourgeois of this city and treasurer for the king." In 1715 he became the owner of the Seigniory of Berthier, opposite Sorel, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence.
"Pierre de Lestage built the first Catholic church of Berthier, about 1723, and obtained on Dec. 3, 1732, from Governor Beauharnois and Intendant Hocquart, a great addition to his Seigniory because, as is said in the deed: 'he was worth of it.'"
He also improved the highways and built at Berthier a saw mill, a grist mill and a fine mansion for himself with a grand avenue leading thereto, which still exists.

Sieur de L' Estage died at 8 am, 21 Dec, 1743 at age 63. Buried the following day. Mass at Notre Dame, buried at church of Recollet fathers.
Marie Joseph adopted two girls after death of husband. They later became nuns, Soeurs Sainte Basile (died age 25) and Sainte Pierre (died age 80).
Feb 1765 Marie-Joseph sold the Seigniory of Berthier for a lifetime annuity of 1500 livres "which with an annual income from her husband's estates in France handsomely supplied her wants."
C. Alice did not discover her date of death at the time of the writing of this book, but she did find her burial place, under the chapel of St. Anne in the old church of Notre Dame, which stood in the "middle of Notre Dame St., opposite the present cathedral."
Her bones were moved twice, once in 1830, then again in 1866 to the cemetery at Cote des Neiges.
