At the request o Mary Sheridan
wife of Michael Hurley, living
with her husband at the town-
ship of Wolfstown, County of
Wolfe, province of Quebec,
We the undersigned Notary Pu-
blic duly admitted and sworn in
and for that part of Canada
actually province of Quebec re-
siding in the district of Artha-
baska and the witnesses hereafter
named went to the dwelling house
Edward Carey, farmer in
the township of Halifax south
County of Megantic, said province
where we found her the said
Mary Sheridan, sitted on a chaid
in a good health, sound of mind,
memory and understanding as to
us said Notary and witnesses
appeared by her manner and
conservation and the said Mary
Sheridan considering the certainty
of death and the uncertainty of the
hour thereof hath declare unto
us the said Notary and witnesses
that she desires to ... her
last will and testament ...
she hath requested us said Notary
to receive and reduce to writing

tute my said son Thomas Hurley
my universal and residuary legatte
