He was born in Albany, NY in about 1696. His parents were Anne Leber and Hillebrant Lootman dit Albrin. He was baptized 26 July 1699 in Notre Dame de la Madeleine, Laprairie, Qc at the age of 2 y/o. Francois and wife Marie Anne Sauvage relocated to Detroit, MI. The exact date and place of his death is unknown. His name should be listed as Francois Lootman dit Barrois. He occcasionally used the dit name Albrin (as did his father)
